Technical requirements

On every level, Prague Studios is regarded as a state-of-the-art film studio. On a technical level however, the stages excel. Environmental controls that provide cooling and heating protect the interiors which remain unaffected by outside temperatures to as much as -20 ° Celsius (20°F). therefore allowing the buildings to maintain a desired temperature at lower costs. Additionally, this system can meet user specific criteria and guarantees minimum noise, enabling filming to continue under full operation of the units. In Stage 1 alone, the equipment can service a staff of over 200 people, and all studio spaces are equipped with up-to-date fire protection systems in compliance with European Union Standards.

The lighting is easily controlled in the studios, which meet top-standard artificial lighting requirements. All interior shooting spaces are painted neutral gray, making them ideal for filmmaking.

The studios contain an internal optical network which allows for communication within any area of the studios and full connectivity between stages, offices , prep areas and beyond. An external network connection is currently implemented via internet. In the near future, Prague Studios will have direct connection to broadband data lines.
